WATCHING IM3 WITH POPCORN

[From here. Tony has popcorn and a download of IM3 and the movie has started to play. What could possibly go wrong?]

[ except everything? yeah. this is going to be an interesting ride; pops a piece of popcorn into Tony's mouth ]

[wow, this movie sure opens with me being full of it]

I'm loving it so far.

[stickswithit]

[ when aren't you full of it? ]

That doesn't surprise me to hear.

[... and then Yinsen shows up and he sobers up immediately]

I'd forgotten all about that night.

[stickswithit]

[ glances over at him ]

I take it that this night doesn't end well.

[biggerstick]

Uh... well, you're not gonna like it.

Let me guess, it ends with a girl?

[biggerstick]

I think so. It usually does, doesn't it?

[stickswithit]

It used to. Well, it used to end with a different girl.

[biggerstick]

This was a long time ago and I don't remember her at all.

I'm not that put out. After all, I'm fully aware of how you used to be.

[ not so subtly taps the ring ]

Good. I was starting to think this had been a bad idea.

[stickswithit]

Don't worry, I've caught you in worse positions. It's in the past, so I'm fine with it.

[biggerstick]

[and the plant explodes and Happy is a hero. Good Happy]

I miss Happy.

[stickswithit]

[ soft laugh ]

It almost looks like Happy wanted to join.

[biggerstick]

I don't think he likes me that much.

[stickswithit]

[and moving on to present day and Tony putting things inside his arm despite Jarvis' disapproval]

[ side-eyes him ]

Let's see how horribly this is going to end.

[stares at the screen thoughtfully]

... Jarvis, do you remember this?

[biggerstick]

Yeah, I'm remembering it as it happens. [motions at his bot] Slick, get us some water.

[stickswithit]

[ hand brushing through his hair ]

If this isn't surreal, I don't know what is.

Well, if that suit survives the whole movie it's gonna be awesome to have.
