That's not the point, I like this shirt.

[ though it is . . . pretty wet outside, so he's gonna get soaked to the bone in seconds ]

[ ASSUMING A FIGHTING STANCE, expression serious ]

[Tony attacks first, he doesn't use any weapons because that would be cheating. He does a fairly decent job, but it's obvious that his reaction times are terrible, especially in comparison to New York, and he seems sort of out of it after getting the first blow.]

[ true to his word, Steve takes it easier on him than he would've otherwise, but he's willing to give Tony enough of a fight to run him down. and maybe give the suit a run for its money, too, so he gets thrown into at least one tree.

Tony does have a slight advantage in that it's very wet and muddy, and no amount of serum is going to make the ground less slippery, but Steve is also able to figure out how to work with it. ]

[after several minutes of doing his best and hopefully ruining Steve's shirt, Tony just stays down after getting thrown and lifts a hand in surrender]

Okay, okay, super soldier wins this one.

[he sounds more out of breath than he should, but that's not very surprising]

[ leans over him with a bit of a grin, holding his hand out for him ]

[ and yes, his shirt is ruined. even if he weren't covered in mud, Tony probably did well enough to cause a few tears. ]

[takes off his mask and lets Steve pull him up]

Ecstatic.

[ gives him a pat on the shoulder once he's steady on his feet that makes drops of water fly everywhere ]

[stumbles a little, looking completely exhausted]

Pool house? There's a shower there... and dry clothes.

[ looks down at himself and nods ]

Sure you can make it?

I could fly myself there.

Right.

[ waves a hand ]

I'll catch up with you.

... okay.

[he'll fly off and hopefully not crash into anything on the way]

[ shakes his head and jogs his way to the pool house ]

[once Steve gets there Tony will be out of the suit and flopped down on a bed. There's a clean towel and clothes that will probably fit Steve on a table nearby. And Tony is awake, just flopping]

[ taking off his shoes when he comes in so he doesn't track in all the mud ]

Good, you made it! Almost expected to find you lying on the ground halfway here.

And you keep underestimating me. Honestly, I'm hurt.

[ just laughs ]

Shower?

[gestures towards the bathroom]

Go ahead. Unless you're inviting me to join you, then I'll have to pass.

[ rolls his eyes and moves to the table to pick up the clothes, which he holds up in a 'thank you' gesture. as he turns in the direction of the shower he calls back over his shoulder ]

You keep up with that stuff I'm gonna start thinking you have somethin' dirty on your mind, Stark!

[laughs, though he sounds exhausted]

I usually do.

Well, keep me out of it!

[ that one echoes against the tiles, and then he closes the door behind him ]

[just flops again, god]
